Our team will participate at the 2013 AAU Regional Qualifiers which will take place at Manoa District Gym on Sunday, April 14th, 2013. We will meet in front of the entrance at 9:30 AM. Over 45 countries were in attendance worldwide, with over 5000 athletes taking place in competition, making it now the largest international karate tournament in the world. Attendance was particularly strong this year given that Karate is now a candidate sport for inclusion in the 2020 Olympic games. This year NKF Regional Championships took place at Neal S. Blaisdell Centre on Sunday, March 29th, 2013. Six students represented Kachi Karate Hawaii at this event.
